“I am trying not to PANIC but I agree with Ned, my biggest concern is who will take on the job of Treasurer! I’m worried we may have to dissolve the FOML organization! We could lose our Nonprofit status! We need a responsible, trustworthy person with the skills, and responsibility to take over this very important position on the FOML Board of Directors!”

Friends of the Library Week October 19-25

The Santa Rosa County Library System will celebrate Friends of the Library Week October 19-25. The Friends of the Library are members of the community who selflessly devote their time and energy to raise money to support the SRC Library System. Money raised by the Friends touches the lives of residents throughout Santa Rosa County by funding programs and events, including:

  • Performers, material, and refreshments for library programs
  • Decorations
  • Promotional materials
  • Summer reading program
  • Books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVDs
  • Computer Equipment
  • Additional Shelving

Everyone is invited to the Milton Library to celebrate Friday with the Friends on October 24 between noon and 2 p.m. where you can visit the library, meet the wonderful members of the Friends of the Milton Library and join them. Now is the perfect time to join the Friends of the Library!
