you can, bring some extra bags for our

Volunteers (and members) are always needed and welcome!
PLEASE NOTE ABOUT HELPING WITH BOOK SALES AS A VOLUNTEER:
Due to volunteers personal contact with the public, and especially with children, all volunteers must have previously completed and been processed as a “Library Volunteer” that includes a completed background check in order to help “during” the sale, but anyone who wants to help set up before sale or put away after the sale may do so, and we would appreciate your help! Also think about joining our group the Friends of the Milton Library.
We would also love love love to have you as a member of the Friends of the Milton Library! Annual membership dues ( $10 Individual, $15 Family, $50. Organizations ,) and the funds raised at book sales helps support many of the library programs, such as Summer Reading Programs, Adult Programs, refreshments for programs, decorations, program presenters, Books on CD, and so much more! Last year the Friends of the Milton Library donated $9,514.43 to the Milton Library to support programs that may not otherwise be possible.
If you can’t make it to the book sale, inside the library our book cart donations also go toward the many programs that we make possible for the Milton Library. This book cart is open all year during the regular library hours. The donation box is on the end of the book cart. You can also fill out a membership applications, put in envelope and drop in that donation box to join the Friends of the Milton Library.
Use the form below to contact us or drop by the book shed at the back end of the library on Monday between 9:30 am and 10:30 am to sign up, that is when the book committee meets but sometimes things happen and no one is there.
